Does MooGoo sunscreen contain milk?

Almost all of our products do not contain milk, except for our Hydrating Cleansing Bars. We do add Milk Protein to some of our moisturising creams and as it happens to be very good for maintaining skin elasticity and for protecting the hair shaft in our hair care products.

What is MooGoo made of?

We source that Milk Protein from dairy co-operatives that are non-GMO, but we don’t have our own cows. The only non-vegan ingredients we use is some of our products are Milk Protein, Honey and Beeswax.

Is MooGoo clear zinc sunscreen vegan?

MooGoo chooses not to add Paraffin, Parabens & Phenoxyethanol. pH Balanced. MooGoo tests on ourselves, not animals.

Is MooGoo completely natural?

Australian-made. We’re a family owned, Australian company with an entire range of natural and gentle products that are made with effective ingredients and no gimmicks.

Does MooGoo contain SLS?

All MooGoo items are free from parabens, silicone, petroleum, SLS, phenoxyethanol and any other nasty chemicals, with their brand philosophy being that if it isn’t good enough to eat, it isn’t good enough for the skin.

Is MooGoo milk wash vegan?

Like all skincare companies in Australia, we are 100% Cruelty-Free and do not test our products on animals. We’ve carefully chosen the ingredients we use, including the non-Vegan ones. For example, Honey (Mel) is great for healing skin and is a natural anti-bacterial ingredient.

Where is MooGoo made?

Most of MooGoo’s creams are made on the Gold Coast, while hair products are made in Sydney and other products, such as lip balms, are made in Perth where the company started.

Is moo goo palm oil free?

Hi Rebecca, we don’ have any palm oil derivatives in our products except for our cleansing bars. We know there are concerns regarding Palm Oil. We are all animal lovers here at MooGoo and are appalled by bad treatment to animals.

What does Moogoo smell like?

This is our natural preservation system, and if you know anything about Hops (think beer), they have an “earthy” smell. This smell is not a bad one, it’s just not what people are used to. We’ll gladly take an off-white, earthy smelling cream over a stark white, synthetically-preserved one any day of the week.

What is moo goo used for?

The fact that MooGoo even exists is a happy accident. In 2005, the Head of the Herd (Craig Jones) noticed that his mother was using a white paste, intended for use on cows, to help with her Psoriasis. The cream was formulated to help keep the skin on cow’s udders in good condition for milking.
